Day 29: Circle

We took a walk right after dinner and just before bed. We found this along the way.

Day 28: 1pm

I figured the one o'clock hour was acceptable, because I almost forgot.

Day 28: Quiet Time

Day 27: Somewhere You Went

I only went to and from and back again to Miaya's school. So I took a picture of the road I drive most of the way. I used to hate Bangerter Highway. It was to be avoided at all costs, but it's much quicker now than it used to be. And so.

Day 27: Bangerter Highway
And more importantly, it was Melanie's birthday yesterday! I hope it was a lovely one. : D

Day 26: Black + White

I took lots of pictures of black and white objects, but I decided to go with a black and white picture instead.

Day 26: My happy family
I love Dustin's face. And Miaya's smile. A Sarah's awesomeness.

Day 25: Looking Down

Right at the end of Sarah's nap and at the beginning of Miaya's. Naps are SACRED at my house. Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING gets in the way of naps. It makes everything much better, and everyone happier. Especially my girls.
Day 25: Sarah tries to get her other shoe on and Miaya is too tired to stay awake any longer

Day 24: Something You Are Grateful For

Day 24: My girls
These two little girls make life so much more. In every single way.

Day 22: The Last Thing You Bought

The last thing I bought was actually dinner. But I didn't want to do the coke bottle again. So this is the next to last thing I bought. This is from the movie I went to see yesterday.

Day 22: I love water

Day 21: Bottle

I watched the Hunger Games today for the first time. It was great. But then I was surprised with a date! Dinner and dessert. I'm a lucky girl.

Day 21: My drink with dinner

Day 20: Something You Drew

I used to draw quite a bit as a teenager. And I hardly ever do anymore. Today, I drew my family. hahahha. It's fun.

Day 20: Family Portrait

Day 19: Orange

I was thinking it would be hard to find orange in my house. It's not. I have orange EVERYWHERE! The biggest orange parts in my house: my BATHROOM! How does one forget that one has an orange bathroom?! I don't know. I guess you just get used to it.

Day 19: Orangey goodness
By the way, I love this picture. Miriam gave it to me when she moved to Guam, and I lurve it. So so so so so much.

Don't mind the dust. Or spiderwebs. hahahaha. I think I've mentioned before that I'm a terrible house keeper?

Day 18: Hair

Hair.
It was fun. I took hair pictures of all of us.

Sarah hair

 Sarah said "1,2,3, cheese!"
Dustin hair
Dustin said "What kind of freak thing are you doing?!"
hahahahahaha.

Miaya hair
Miaya was asleep, so she didn't say anything. :)

My hair
My hair is generally a mess. It looks cool, though.

Day 17: Something You Don't Like

This one took a bit of thought. Sarah climbed on the table this morning, and I thought "I don't like that." And took a picture. hahahaha. But then a lightbulb came on. I don't like relish. At all. It think it's disgusting. But the rest of my family likes it. And so we have it. Funny thing is that I helped make it. It was cool to make. But it smells very strong.

Day 17: Relish

Day 16: Flower

I have hyacinths. They were here when we bought the house, but since we bought the house in the late summer, we had no idea they were there until spring came along. They have a nice fragrance. Whenever I walk by them, I can smell them. They will probably die this week. I'm glad we got to enjoy them a bit. Miaya picked one the other day, and put the little flowers in our ears the other day.

Day 15: Sunset

I waited all day to take today's picture. And then I almost forgot to take it.
The view right out of my bedroom window.

Day 15: Outside my bedroom window.

Day 14: How You Feel Today

I woke up this morning knowing we were going wheeling. I love wheeling, but the prep to go out for the day is quite involved. Dustin takes care of the Jeep stuff: making sure we have tools, tow straps, the high lift, the shovel, car fluids, and of course the sleds in case there would be snow. ;) I take care of the us stuff: snacks, books, portable DVD player, coloring books, and crayons, and camera. Can't forget the camera. : D
So I was tired. But happy.

Day 14: Tired, but happy.
That's what I was going for. I asked Dustin if I looked tired. I though I did. He scoffed and said no. hahahahaha. What a funny guy.

I am holding a tomato plant. Just in case you wanted to know.

Day 13: Something You Found

No not the adorable little girl. The thing in her mouth. We call this her dummy. And if she loses it, all hell breaks loose. Okay, not really, but something akin to it. She LOVES her dummy. And she loses it about 6 million times a day. No jokes.

Day 13: Sarah's dummy
Oh, and I also love her koolaide mustache. It's lovely.

Day 12: Stairs

Day 12: The girls on the stairs
I didn't come across any stairs yesterday, so I took this picture at Miaya's school today.
Me: "Wait girls! Let's get a picture on the stairs."
Miaya and Sarah: "Let's go up the ramp!"
You see there is a ramp off to the right. And you're supposed to go down the ramp and up the stairs. After some wrangling on my part, though, I got them to go up the stairs. hahahaha.

Day 11: Where You Ate Breakfast

I was eating here, until I stood up to take the picture, and then my Sarah made a beeline for it. :)
She's fun. I love her.

Day 11: The kitchen table

Day 10: Cold

Today it is supposed to get up to 80 degrees F. It was 72 degrees when this picture was taken with a slight breeze. I was fine in my jeans and t shirt and flip flops. I think it was pretty cold in the sprinkler. I was getting chilly just watching her run through. :)

Day 10: It looks warm but it's not
Miaya was so excited to be able to run through the sprinklers. Now she's bundled up and watching a movie. Ha!

Day 9: Younger You

This is one of my favorite pictures of myself. Dustin and I had only been dating for a couple of months. It was taken at our friends wedding. The friends who introduced us. The only time Dustin has ever worn a tux. He's quite dashing, if I do say so myself.

Day 9: Me almost 10 years ago
The sad story about this picture is that it was a polaroid, so this is just a paper copy, and it's the only one I have. I still love it.

Day 8: Inside Your Wallet

My wallet. Simple. It's a Franklin Covey one. My mother in law has worked there for several years now, and she got it for me a few years back. It's green and black leather. My favorite colors. And it has note paper in it. Awesome.
Day 8: My wallet.

Day 7: Shadow

I didn't really like any of the shadow photos I took today. It's something I am going to do more often, that is for sure.

So on to the picture: I like the story of this photo. It's Miaya hiding from Sarah. They were playing outside, and Miaya decided to hide behind the apple shrub*.

Day 7: Miaya hiding behind the apple shrub.
By the way, it is a bit odd when kids run into my backyard and ask for Miaya and then stay. Not asking if they can play. Just start hanging out. It's a bit awkward. hahahahahahaha.

*apple shrub: It's supposed to be an apple tree, but I try to keep it small. Or else it grows into the power lines. (Whoever planted the trees in my yard before I owned my home planted things all over the place. Seemingly without much thought. All the trees grew right into the powerlines or the house.) Hence the shrub part.

Day 6: Lunch

I knew today's photo was supposed to be lunch, so I figured we would have a picnic outside. It's something we do often. Unfortunately, we woke up to snow.
We had a picnic anyway, just inside. : D
Day 6: Apples and graham crackers at our picnic

Day 5: Tiny

When I saw the word tiny for today's picture, my first though was Sarah and her little feet and tiny toes. I don't know if they are tiny to anyone else, but they are to me! I love her little toes that look like they were put on one at a time and put on however they landed. :)

Day 4: Someone who makes me happy.

There is one person in this world who makes me very happy. And he has led to even more happiness . He's the best ever.

Day 4: My Dustin love.

He makes me laugh every single day. And he makes me feel safe and loved, even with all the imperfections and flaws. :) And he has given me two lovely daughters. Which equals lots of happiness.

Day 3: Mail

I don't like junk mail. And that's all I got today. I wish there was a way to not get it. I do, however, love getting bills. Strange, right? I love paying things off, though. It's like checking something off a list. Anyway, here is the picture for day 3.

We have giant Easter eggs at my house. This is half of one.

30 days of photos

I'm doing this for the month of April. And I am doing it my way. Enjoy.
