May photoaday was a big fat fail

I have been too busy enjoying everything instead of taking pictures of it all! Too bad I'm not better at multitasking. ::sigh:: The weather has been gorgeous to cold to hot.
So, perfect. hahahahahha.
Lot's of sun, a bit of rain, some thunderstorms in April, planting the garden, planting the flowerbeds, the yearly trip to Fillmore, Miaya graduating from preschool, Miaya getting registered and such for kindergarten, Sarah starting potty training, swimming, gardening galore, shopping, etc. etc.

Miaya's eyes

me and Miaya

I adore this picture!!

So many ladies. (Dustin's family had all boys in his generation except for one girl, and the next generation is all girls except for two boys so far. His cousin Zach, when he was quite a bit younger, said we were having all ladies now. hahahahahaha.)

Mohawk!

Miaya after her dance pictures

The eclipse! I didn't get any good pictures. It looked so so so so so so awesome, though. So awesome.

Miaya's graduation.

The very last one to get her diploma. :D

Miaya!

Sarah!

Sarah and Great Grandma Adams

Oh, and Miaya's spring concert is coming right up! Rehearsal on Friday and then the performances on Monday and Tuesday. This year's theme is Dancing Through Broadway. You wanna come? It's free! Murray Park on June 4th and 5th at 8:00pm. It's a lot of fun. See here for any other details you might need.

Day 17: Snack

Day 17: I wanted to eat them all
This was my snack today. I ate them all. No, I didn't. That's a lie. But I may have if I had room for them all.

Day 16: What You're Reading

Day 16: Once Every Never by Lesley Livingston
I'm about 20 pages in, and I'm just starting to get a glimpse of what the story is going to be about. ::sigh:: I hope it's good.

Day 13: Mum

Day 13: Mamma
My mum is unlike any other woman I know. She's the one in the center, by the way. She's tough. She's honest. She loves us all so much. And I didn't realize she had an accent until a few years ago. I still have a hard time hearing it, but hear it I did. I'm glad and grateful to have her as my mum.
I love you Mamma!

Day 15: Love

Day 15: The Sisterly Kind
These girls love each other. Heaps. They also fight, in any way possible, all the time. And yet, this love is always, ALWAYS there. It's great. I love my funny girls.

Day 14: Grass

Day 14: Miaya bringing Sarah back.
We went to the library. We sat under a tree and read books. Our favorite was Fancy Nancy Bonjour, Butterfly. It was a fun book. I want to have a butterfly party now. Maybe for Sarah's 2nd? hahahahha.

Day 12: Something That Makes You Happy

Day 12: boooooooks
Books are magical. I love reading them. They make me happy.

Day 11: Kitchen

Day 11: At least it's clean
My kitchen is tiny. But I love it. If you have more than one person in there, you have to watch your elbows, lest you take someones eye or rib out.

Day 10: A favorite word

Day 10: cantankerous
I love this word. It's a very good word. I wish I could have found it in one of my books. Alas, I couldn't be arsed. That is also a favorite word of mine. And it's not very appropriate. Sorry.

Day 9: Something You Do Everyday

Day 9: Make the bed

If making the bed is the only thing I am able to do in a day (as far as cleaing my house), I'm okay with that. :)

Day 8: A Smell You Adore

Day 8: Oh grass
Freshly cut grass.

Day 7: Someone That Inspires You

Day 7: Mamma
A very inspiring woman: my Mamma.

Day 6: You

Day 6: Look! It's me!
Today was gorgeous. The sun shone. The air was crispy. I got a nap. It was a good day. :)

Oh and this is a self pic. I am trying to get better at them. But it's more Dustin's forte.

Day 5: bird

Day 5: The ducks
These ducks have been hanging out in our front yard each year for a few years now. Just at certain times of the year. Crazy ducks.

Day 4: Fun

Day 4: Dustin + Meleofa
Dustin and I in the backyard for a minidate = fun.

Day 3: Something You Wore Today

Day 3: My shoes
Miriam gave me these shoes a few years ago. I love them.

Day 2: Skyline

Day 2: Evening sky
Tonight we were outside, and saw some balloons that escaped. It made me happy and sad. I don't think you can see them very well, if at all.

Day 1: Peace

Each day is, in general, hectic. Today was energetic, for sure. The girls were non stop energy for most of the day. We had hot dogs over a fire in the backyard, and while they sat down and ate, it felt so peaceful. It was lovely.

Day 1: They slowed down for a few moments.

Miaya Likes to Beatbox

Miaya has watched the Electric Company and Yo Gabba Gabba lots. They both have beat boxing. And Miaya loves to beatbox.

Sarah and the Ducks

Sarah loves animals. She wants them all to be her friends. And also, she likes to try to sneak up on ducks. :)
