Our Pioneer Day weekend.

Have you ever noticed that Independence Day isn't called that very often? Every time someone mentioned it, they would say "Happy fourth" not Happy Independence day. And with Pioneer day, it's the same. "Happy twenty fourth". Interesting.

Anyway. It was warm, and quiet. I liked it.

We barbecued at Dustin's grandparents house. Dustin had to work late (we celebrated on the 23rd) so I went over with the girls and we ate and did fireworks.


These two pictures are of Dustin almost burning his hand off. His aunt and uncle brought sparklers for the kids, and none of them were interested in them, so Dustin said he would use them. He proceeded to take 3 boxes of them and lit them all at once. I would not recommend it. It burned his fingers and so he threw it towards the bucket of water we had on hand. It didn't make it. No one else was hurt.

Oh, and Miaya and Sarah wore matching outfits. hahahaha. It's the first time I've done it, and it was great. I didn't even take a picture of them together, though. Duh. Oh well.
