I went to playgroup today

It was an absolute first for me. And it wasn't bad! I am not the most social of creatures. I don't know if it's the way I've always been, or if it's some bad(?) habit I have acquired. Either way, I was expecting it to be awkward and uncomfortable. Which it was, but only the teeniest bit. I know these ladies, for crying out loud. hahahaha. They are all women whom I like, and their kids get along with my one. I did notice, however, not just today, but also on Saturday, that Miaya really marches to the beat of her own drum.

On Saturday, for example, the kids were all playing in these little pools. Miaya took a long time to even get into the water. After that, she was fine. There were two little pools. All the kids

ended up in one pool, except Miaya. She stayed in her little pool. The other kids are all telling her to come into the other pool, repeatedly. She just stayed there and told them she didn't want to and she didn't have to. hahahahaha. She makes me laugh. And today, she played alot by herself, but in a going where she wanted to go whether she had someone to play with or not. Exploring the new yard. I love this kid so much. She makes me laugh and smile and all sorts of stuff.

Being her Mother is quite the adventure.
